Do I have to have a Pro to play with?  NO! Play with your friends. No Pro Needed. Teams are blind drawn after the round is over. Male and female players are welcome. Senior Tees and Super Senior Tees available. Two Gross Low-Ball format.

Do I have to have a Foursome to play with?  NO! You may sign up as a single, twosome or threesome.  If you have less than 4 players in your group you will be paired with other players.

 

How much does the Pro-Am Series cost?  All events are cash only.  Pro-Am rounds will cost $45 (III), $55 (II) or $65 (I) depending on the facility. This covers the Pro-Am fee AND the cart fee.

 

Is there a Membership Fee to play in the Pro-Am Series?  Yes - $25 per season. You receive eligibility to play in all Pro-Am Series regular season events, and chance to qualify for the year-end finale event.

 

How do I reserve a tee time for a Pro-Am Series event?  Amateur players are allowed to reserve a spot 13 DAYS IN ADVANCE of each event by sending an email to wtpga.proam@gmail.com on the Tuesday morning at 7:00 a.m. prior to the desired event.  The email MUST include the names of ALL players that will be in the group.  Due to the high demand at most events, we honor the requests based on the time stamp when the email was received. There is no guarantee that an email received will result in a spot in the field.  Requests are honered on a first-come-first-served basis.

 

Is there a Dress Code for Pro-Am Series events?  Yes - no denim jeans or denim shorts, no cargo pants or cargo shorts and all players must wear collared shirts. Proper golf shorts are allowed.  Each course may have specific dress code requirements, please check if you have a question.

 

How many points are available in the Pro-Ams?  We are currently evaluating how many points will be needed based on the number of events we will be able to hold this season.  Point totals for the finale will be announced later in the season.  

 

Is there a Low Amateur purse?  Yes! Players may opt-in for an additional $5 fee.  Age 50 and older playing from different tees will compete for the same Low Amateur purse.

 

Is there an Amateur Skins Game this year?  Yes!  Players may opt-in for an additional $5 fee.

 

Is there a handicap limit in order to play?  The Pro-Ams are open to both male and female players of ALL abilities. Handicaps are NOT used to determine team scores, only to classify players.

Must I have an official GHIN handicap account in order to play?  No! We trust you to provide your estimated handicap or average score in order to be classified as an A, B or C player.  If your scores reflect that you should be in a different category (higher or lower) we will move you up or down.  If you do have an official USGA GHIN Handicap account you will receive a 5 point bonus toward qualifying for the season-ending finale.

 

PGA Partners Circle Program:  Created to reward amateurs for their participation, the PGA Partners Circle is a point system that will allow amateurs to earn an invitation to the Final Pro-Am. Amateurs must have points to qualify. At the Final Pro-Am, players will receive a chance to play our PGA Tour host course along with food, merchandise and prizes. Level I courses award 3 points, Level II courses award 6 points and Level III courses award 9 points.
